SwimmerProblems

It takes a unique person to be a swimmer. It
takes a dedicated person, a person with heart, with guts, and with discipline.
Swimmers have chlorine flowing through their blood, it's scent naturally
emitting from their skin, and their hair must be slightly bleached from being
soaked in the stuff all day. Swimmers learn to live life half-naked and fully
wet. A swimmer never quits, even if they're exhausted and in sheer agony. And
even if there is a complaint, it is completely expected for the coach to merely
reply, "Shut up and swim." And even though it is astoundingly hard work, they
still get mad at their parents for dropping them off at practice late at 5:31
AM. They must embrace all this pain, drinking it like water because the second
they enter the pool, pain is their entire world. They must take all of this, to
endure more than any other human being. To constantly push their pain tolerance
and endurance everyday. To get up before the sun rises and leave after it sets.
Yeah, us swimmers are pretty amazing.
